This podcast is about reminding us of what is good about us, deep down in our core.

Our Essence is something pure, beautiful, and powerful that can never be taken from us, and never tainted, no matter what we’ve been through. It is our True Self, beneath all the layers of defenses, stories, and neurotic habits that we call personality.

It is possible to embark upon the Epic Journey from our Ego to our Essence, and there are two main tools that bring us there: the cultivation of Presence, and having spiritual disciplines or practices that help us return to this Presence again and again. There are myriad ways of doing this, as my guests on this show demonstrate through their stories about their own Epic Journeys back home to Essence.
