About Chelsea

My “work” as an Enneagram educator and spiritual director doesn’t feel like work; it’s life-giving FUN!

I love holding space for individuals and groups to have those “aha moments,” and to connect more deeply with themselves, others, and Divine Love. While I bring a spirit of playfulness to this work, I also take it very seriously by employing my integrity, organizational skills, and a grounded presence to all my interactions with clients.

In my free time, I am zipping around Minneapolis on my bike, gardening, laughing with friends, joining conversations and actions for social justice, reading, writing, painting, and singing songs to my precious dog, Chancho.

My Journey to the Enneagram

I never planned on being a Spiritual Director or Enneagram Educator, but it turns out the Universe has a sense of humor, so here I am. Before I discovered and claimed this particular vocation, I was on track to be a church youth director, then a theologian, next a social worker, then an artist, community organizer, activist, and finally, a teacher. All of these identities still live within me, and surface in various forms. However, I have found that holding space for and encouraging other people’s spiritual journeys and healing is what brings me the most joy. I believe working with the Enneagram is the most efficient and profound way of doing that.

Statement of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging

The Enneagram and Inner Work belong to everyone. In my work, I strive to be conscious of my personal and cultural biases and privileges so as to not act them out in unconscious, harmful ways. I welcome everyone to this work, including people of all races, genders, sexualities, cultures, nationalities, religions, abilities, immigration status, or any other form of diversity. Not only is everyone welcome and invited, but I want everyone to feel like they belong in the spaces I facilitate. I have done extensive study and practice in leadership toward racial justice, and all forms of justice and equity are at the center of my work. This is one of my greatest gifts as an Enneagram One.

I have begun offering workshops and trainings specifically for activists and organizers, as well as trainings around understanding Whiteness and Automatic Advantage through the lens of the Enneagram. Bringing together my two greatest passions, social justice and the Enneagram, has been one of my greatest joys, and I believe this is a unique offering I can give to the Enneagram community! I am not perfect, and continue to learn and grow in these areas, and always welcome kind feedback on how I can improve my work.
